**This event is for BeAngels members and people interested in discovering the Business Angels activity/ joining the network.**

Our investment forum will take place on Thursday, September 22 at Comet Meetings Louise.

BeAngels selects and accompanies the best startups in their search for the funds necessary for their development. During this investment forum, you will attend four pitches of startups pre-selected by us.

The forum will also be available in livestreaming for our online participants.To start this event we will have the chance to welcome Bruno Colmant who will give you a brief presentation about "Perspective on the future economic landscape: from nightmares to slim hope."

Bruno holds a Ph.D. in Applied economics and a Ms. From Purdue University, Solvay Business Scholl, and ESSF. He teaches in several universities and is a member of the Belgian Royal Academy. He has authored or co-authored more than 80 books. He is currently a partner with Roland Belger after having held several CEO positions at ING, Euronext, and Degroof Petercam.


Discover a brief description of the projects that will be presented to you :

  1. Project 1 : Make indoor rowing fun!

    The first app to bring virtual rowing to your living room. Over 20.000 registrations and €10.000+ MRR after first year on the market. Now looking to raise funding to become the biggest indoor rowing app on the market.

  2. Project 2: Optical sensors with embedded AI to count or detect things and people

    A new approach to sensing things through embedded computer vision while respecting individual privacy. Their solution extracts information from scenes to enable Smart City, Smart building and Smart Industry. The first flagship product is a parking management application. Created 6 months ago, they generate recurring revenues thanks to 10 deployed sensors in Luxembourg Cities and are making progress with Airports, Railway companies and Street Light manufacturers.

  3. Project 3: Using the Metaverse to attract tech talents

    They are helping companies attract the best possible tech talents while improving their recruiting process and brand image using virtual recruitment spaces in the Metaverse.
    First on the market, this HRtech managed in less than 8 months to convince premium customers such as Nokia, Pepsico and HelloFresh for their pilot program. The Metaverse and VR is at the forefront of tomorrow's world. They bet that recruitment will be part of it.

  4. Project 4: Data-driven robot for coastal ecosystems

    The company has developed a unique Autonomous Underwater Vehicle combined with a dedicated data suite providing the ultimate end-to-end solution for underwater monitoring in a manner comparable to the aerial drone industry. It outperforms current solutions in a more cost-effective manner. The blue economy will double by 2030 (OECD) and the company is ready to be a disrupting force. The company foresees mass market entry beginning of 2024. The technology is validated.

  5. Project 5: Financial diagnosis tool & guidance for a better Judicial Reorganisation Procedure

    More than 5,000 bankruptcies were declared the last six months (+56.4% vs. LY). The expected wave of bankruptcies following the covid has arrived and is gaining momentum. In this context, they are creating a digital platform capable of early detection of the risk of discontinuity and allowing SME/TPE to go through the Judicial Reorganization Procedure (PRJ) at the right moment.
    Thanks to the partnership with CAP network, they address their solution to all companies in PRJ and expect to reach breakeven within 24 months.
